Hi all. I have a couple of questions about using cakewalk pro audio 9.
How do I record an audio track using my mic?
Is it possible to enter notes and drum patterns and such using the pc keyboard?
Any suggestions would be apreciated. Thanks.
Bryan

are you using the supplied scripts for cake walk pro audio nine? or, are you using the cake talking scripts from dancing dots? I can run you through how to set up an audio track. contact me through a private message or quick note. this will be a phone job because there are a lot of things to configure before you can record etc.

I'm using the scripts that came with jaws. Are the ones you mencianed better than those? If you have msn or bitwize, add me and we'll talk about how to do this.
Where can I get those scripts you were talking about?

I use aim but we can work over the phone if you want to get cakewalk working for you. The scripts are from dancing dots. They are not free. However, you can survive with the standard jaws scripts for now. You should really upgrade to sonar. Pro audio nine is ancient and won't run well under windows xp.
